Ocean Shores is centrally located, just a 30 minute drive from both Ballina-Byron and Gold Coast airports and an easy 15 minutes from Byron Bay. The Club is set on Minjungbal land and we wish to acknowledge the traditional owners. We are grateful to be able to share this stunning location with all who make use of our facilities.
The Ocean Shores Country Club Foundation Fund has been established to allow Members of the Ocean Shores Country Club to make a financial contribution towards a permanent fund to be used for both the development of the Club and to facilitate specific projects on our course and Club property. Improvements and beautification projects not otherwise available within the Club's operational budgets.

The Pro Shop stocks a comprehensive range of equipment and clothing for both golfers and bowlers. We also offer motorised golf carts, golf clubs and bowls for hire. Ocean Shores Country Club is an incredible destination, with Pacific Ocean views of Byron Bay to the east, Koonyum Ranges to the west. Ocean Shores Country Club golf course was designed in the late 1960s by the team of Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge. The Championship layout is carved through native flora, tidal lakes, and rivers with the Koonyum mountain ranges as a backdrop.

I was expecting decent but fairly standard pub-type food, but I was pleasantly surprised & pleased by how good dinner was at my 1st visit to Horizons Bistro recently. The grilled barramundi was beautiful, & others at my table enjoyed their various meals, which included big serves of mussels, ribs, & squid (gluten free). Prices were decent. Cheers!

This course lived up to numerous high recommendations from people who have played it before. Very picturesque and enjoyable to play. Certainly some challenges but not impossible for other unlucky players like me who don't always hit it in the middle. Bunkers are in immaculate condition and it is nice when your wedge gets through the sand. Can't wait to play Ocean Shores again.
