Founded in 2004 as Chapman Office Services, in 2017 was rebranded COS Business Solutions. We commenced as a Bundaberg Bookkeeping service, however a love of helping people soon added a new branch to the business, 'Consulting and Training'. By advancing into the 'Consulting and Training' role it has allowed us to help clients not only get out of those sticky situations, but to avoid those situations all together.
If you are having trouble with your Accounts or QuickBooks file, we can assist you in a number of ways. We can repair incorrectly setup files or if there have been a few mistakes made along the way. Worst case scenario in the event that the file cannot be saved we can advise on the best path going forward.
We provide Bookkeeping Training, Business and Accounting Software Training in various forms, tailored to suit your needs, and on various types of Accounting and Business Software. From One-on-one; which is more of an ad-lib training which moulds to your knowledge, or we have various Classroom Training available with structured content.
Reckon One - 'Payroll Overview': This session gives you assistance in setting up your live Book for Payroll. We guide you through the Payroll setup, Setting up key Suppliers, Superfunds, Employees, and Payroll Items. We also cover processing pays and Payroll Reporting (including STP - What is STP?).
We specialise in one-on-one Reckon Accounts Training, which is sort of ad-lib, because we find that the majority of our clients only want to learn what they will use. They come to us with varying ranges of experience also.
Most of the time, the training and support is done in stages, we tend to start with basics (invoices, billing, split transactions etc.) in a classroom environment, and then work up to the more complex tasks (Reconciling etc.) until they feel confident in taking it on themselves.
