Much like others, walked in around 5pm, place was totally empty, asked for a take-away and was told they were too busy. I looked around the room with a look of disbelief, and they eventually agreed to do it, and amazingly the meal for 4 was ready in 10 minutes. Food was delicious. Initial moments aside, I would definitely recommend this place. I would just add that I find it a strange business model when your restaurant is totally empty, and it takes you 10 minutes to rustle up a meal, why one would turn away customers. I would like to think they could find a way around this, so more people can

Food was exquisite. We had the prawn salad, red duck curry and sticky date puddings (that came out absolutely swimming in delicious sauce) *yummo*
Service was a little slow (it was a busy Saturday night), but not too slow.
Beautiful artwork on the wall for sale from local photographers and artists too.

Jing Jo is a relaxed dinning experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We did book ahead given the covid space restrictions. After debating the menu we settled on the red curry at the Australian spice level not the Thai face melting level and a classic pad Thai. The result... just delicious. The red curry was spicey well flavored and the pad Thai one of the best we had for while. Worth a visit for anyone in kangaroo valley!

Awful experience. They open at 5pm. I came in at 5.13pm on a Wednesday. The sign says open. There is no one inside, except 3 waitresses standing around talking together. It is a big place with additional outside seating. The owner greets me and says they're fully booked, contrary to the empty space. This is a stark contrast to the Indian restaurant up the road, Valley's Curry House, run by lovely, welcoming people, whose food is delectable.

Really impressed with the Thai food at Jing Jo. I must admit I am always a bit skeptical when I hear that a restaurant does one cuisine during the day and one at night, but the Thai food certainly does not disappoint.
Our group of 8 ordered chicken satays, spring rolls, cashew chicken, chili & basil beef, Penang curry with chicken, pad Thai, vegetables with oyster sauce and a seafood stir fry. All of that was happily devoured and we ordered a second round of the cashew chicken and chili & basil beef.
Service was friendly and corkage reasonable.
We will definitely be back for dinner

Modern Aussie Cuisine with great coffee by day, and apparently a good thai restaurant by night.
We visited the 'polished' and very 'modern' feeling and looking place twice in two days whilst in the KV. First time for tea and coffee and the second, the next day for lunch. Both occasions left us feeling happy and satisfied with our food and service.
So - the tea and coffee. Important to note that we hate paying 3.50 for a bag of tea in a mug with hot water, so it was really nice to have a personal POT of with good quality loose leaf tea in it. The little things count for us
