One Tree Studio (previously trading as Uptown Funky Junk) specialises in hand crafting beautiful furniture from environmentally friendly reclaimed and new timbers. We rescue old timber from workers cottages, wharves and warehouses to create sustainable and beautiful pieces of furniture. One Tree Studio is located in Brookfield, Brisbane, although we can ship Australia wide.
Susan is the creative force and owner of the business whilst husband Mike can usually be found in the workshop and is happiest with a chisel or plane in his hands. We are delighted with our solid timber vanity. One Tree Studios was very quick to understand what we were after and improve on our ideas. They provided great guidance and followed through with a beautifully crafted vanity delivered on the day promised. As an added bonus it was much better priced than commercially available solid timber vanities and it is infinitely better made.

We recently had One Tree Studio custom design an outdoor lounge using wooden pallets and the finish product has certainly exceeded our expectations!
We knew we wanted something a bit different for our new home’s rooftop terrace. From the consultation and design phase, to the delivery and installation of the lounge, Susan and Mike from One Tree Studio were fantastic! Susan met with me to consult on design ideas. Her suggestions considered the layout and dimensions of our space, as well as the westerly aspect.
