The opening three holes wind their way to the escarpment to reveal breath taking panoramic views over the RAMSAR listed wetlands and the rugged character of the distant mountain range.

Course Report

Requires a strong tee shot to start with as you will drive into a short hill at the 150 metre mark, (to the green). If you can drive it over the hill off the tee, Men 210 / Women 170 metres, you should be left with a short iron to the green, which is guarded by two bunkers on the right and one on the left.

Nice to revisit, where most of my duffs and missed tap in putts, have occurred over the last sixty years! Absolutely magnificent! Greens and fairways so lush. Enjoyed getting picked up and playing a few holes with Bruce Croaker who I’ve known for ever. He still strikes the ball very well. Congratulations to the Club with the presentation of the Course .... Not a bad lie, even in “the rough”, where most of my shots ended up. Just fantastic.

Great friendly staff, helped me and friends for our first ever round of golf 9 or 18 holes club and cart hire available, bar and social area. definitely recomend

Excellent country course with views over the wetlands. Relatively short but plenty of bunkers, undulating fairways, water features and tight greens make it a solid challenge. Course is in great condition and getting better by the day.

Perfect afternoon for golf. So got there at 1.45pm to discover that we could only get a cart til 3.30. So 18 holes dropped to 9 but couse was in good nick and we had 9 holes on the front. And dropped cart back by 3.20. Its a good course with some very good par 3s and a set of sort of Cliffside holes that are reliant on you playing well. You do a lot worse than Sale golf course....which is in Longford actually.

The site needs updating for Sale Golf Club -Results takes us to 2015.
Can we eliminate some of the headings and can the background of results when you find them be in a better background color. I do have a bit of trouble with this and the last check only covered March to around the 15th. Sorry if think I am a bit picky. RTL
