Byron Bay Herb Nursery is a not for profit disability service charity that has been operating in the arts and industry estate of Byron Bay since 1992. To produce high quality herbs and products in the most socially desirable and environmentally sustainable way possible.
The nursery is managed by a community based committee, Katia Project Inc. comprising members from the local community with expertise in areas relevant to the business and disability sectors.Katia Project Inc provides paid employment and training opportunities in the Byron Shire for people with a disability who require training and support to work.

Byron Bay Herb Nursery was established and exists for the principal purpose of providing valued, stable and wage generating employment for people with a disability. Duties Include: planting seeds, planting cuttings, potting on, labeling stock, pruning, making potting mix & customer service. Have approved NDIS funding for supported employment or be eligible for NDIS employment funding.
