Pelican Caravan Park features broad river frontage on the Nambucca River. We boast many features including a private boat ramp, jetty and pontoon, pool with wading pool, riverfront camp kitchen and free wifi. We offer a range of cabins and sites which can cater for group bookings, family reunions, birthdays and fishing trips.
In total their are cabins including Superior 1 + 2 Bedroom cabins, Deluxe 1 + 2 Bedroom cabins and standard cabins. We also have riverfront powered sites, powered sites and unpowered sites which can cater for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, campervans and tents. The park has recently been bypassed which has removed the highway noise.

Services
Pelican Caravan Park is set on 9 acres. The park is easily navigated due to clear signposting and named sealed roads. Part of the charm of the park is that the features are not immediately visible when first entering the park. Due to the position there are not only breathtaking views of the river from the higher ground but following the road to the cabins and camp sites reveals the true beauty of the park.
Take your ski boat and often you can ski right out the front of the park. If the wind is blowing there is a sheltered area past the Macksville Bridge where you can find glassy water. Fish from anywhere along the banks along our river frontage or get a little closer and fish from the jetty and pontoon.

Run for the hills... you will not be disappointed you did!
The unit was located next to the water and is picturesque. However, the condition of the cabin left much to be desired.
The photos show an ageing cabin that has been neglected. If “smellovision” existed, you would equally be disappointed and understanding of my review.
For example, the blanket we unfortunately pulled from the cupboard smelt like a shroud.
