At PE4K Childcare, children's days are unhurried and seamless. Services
PE4K Ashmont, PE4K Forest Hill and PE4K Lake Albert are owned by families with children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. For this reason we place a high emphasis on creating a nurturing environment where children enjoy special relationships with their educators and each other.

PE4K's expectations for our educators are high. It goes without saying that they have a Working With Children Clearance, hold the required academic qualifications, and have completed first aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training. Further, they are knowledgeable, highly skilled and committed to ensuring their practices exceed those of the National Quality Standard (NQS).
We value close connections between our families and educators. We develop and maintain these connections by listening carefully to parents when they share information about their children's wellbeing, growth and learning, and then by ensuring that we tell parents about their child's day. We also encourage families to be involved in the Centre by attending its social events, contributing ideas to the program and taking part in decision-making.
Each day, our onsite chefs prepare and cook tasty and nutritious meals for the children using fresh ingredients purchased from local businesses. The meals include breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack with water offered regularly throughout the day. The chef is always available to speak to parents about their children's allergies, food intolerances, cultural preferences, and their likes and dislikes.
Each day, the Centre provides education and care for up to 56 children from 6 weeks to 6 years. PE4K Ashmont is a small welcoming centre which can best be described as a home away from home for children. Its open design evokes a real sense of connectedness between children, parents and educators as they can move easily around the Centre and also communicate freely.
