Appleseed Gardening is a small business based in the Inner West of Sydney, and has been operating for over ten years. We offer services throughout the metro area in garden design, garden maintenance, plant supply and landscaping. Leading the team is owner/operator Darren Kerr, who holds qualifications from UTS and Ryde TAFE Horticultural college.

For over 10 years, we have been caring for and maintaining the gardens of Sydney's Inner West. Gardens need plenty of care and attention to keep them looking great.
After the back of house was renovated, we needed to create a level area out the back with low maintenance gardens. Beautiful basalt pavers were laid with sandstone block edging, and a raised garden bed from recycled railway sleepers. Chinese Star Jasmine and Ophiopogon were planted in the narrow side passage, with a feature Crabapple tree out the back.

What an amazing team! Seriously impressed by the owner and team. Lovely professional people. Managed our expectations. Couldn’t help enough. Our front and backyards have been totally transformed. They did new turf, cleared out the old garden and installed a herb garden, shrubs and hedges. Would highly recommend

I got onto Appleseed after a neighbour had their front yard replanted and they have just completed a new garden and lawn in my yard. They also have cleaned out and emptied an overgrown front garden. Throughout the entire process Darren has been extremely helpful in providing various options and providing design guidance, as I wasn’t sure on the right solution. The team were professional, punctual, hard working and delivered a supreme garden. I will be using Appleseed again for another garden and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Darren and the team delivered a great project for us - exactly as scoped and promised in terms of timing, quality and budget. Darren transformed our rough idea and pic torn from a magazine into a lovely, lush planting arrangement and two new garden beds. The team were very friendly and responsive and cleaned up everything and the entire area upon completion - so all we were left with was a wonderful finished project.

Appleseed gardening team are fantastic, we re did my courtyard that was looking very unloved . Darren and the team were very professional, from consultation, design and build they turned up on time. were friendly, and kept me informed of what was happening each day. Courtyard now looks great , it is a usable space again

The Appleseed team is outstanding. To say that we are happy with the work they carried out on our front yard is an understatement: we are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out.
