The exact schedule is written in a log book that came with your vehicle. The intervals between servicing are stated in time or distance, whichever comes first.
The exhaust system consists of a series of metal pipes designed to take the fumes to the rear of the vehicle where it is safer to be released. If any of the tubes split or break, noises will occur and the gases (like carbon monoxide) may be released into the vehicle. You will notice a decrease in power and acceleration and decreased efficiency in fuel consumption.
Diesel engines are found in small vehicles up to very large buses trucks and earthmoving machines. Diesel servicing is similar to petrol vehicles but we need to give more attention to your fuel system. You should also arrange to have the oil and oil filter changed more often than petrol engines. The gaskets tend to be under enormous pressure and so we check these at each service for signs of leaks.
The primary function of engine oil is to reduce metal-to-metal contact resulting in less friction and wear. Friction generates heat, which causes more wear and tear on moving engine parts. After 75,000 klm, it is even more important to choose the best oil to maximize the life of your engine. Additives added to the base oil are what gives the oil the characteristics needed to do its job.
First of all to care for your tyres you should do a fortnightly check of your tyres pressure and bring it back to the pressures recommended by the manufacturers of both your car and the tyres. Tyres lose pressure when the car is driven and even when it is standing still so you will always need to monitor this pressure.

My wife rung yesterday morning to get her front break pads changed, the owner asked her if the discs need to be machined, she said no they are good. When she walked in the office 2 men stared at her & she awkwardly had to force something out of them which was being told to park the car in the workshop and be back in 15. The worst experience that I have, worst customer relationship. They took 1 whole day to change my radiator and after changing, heater stopped working. They asked me drop the car and pick it up next day. Next… day when I picked up they said every is fine, but still my heater is not working. I was just checking over there, he was really rude to me and asked me to get fckin car out of here. Very rude and unprofessional. Please don't go there for your good.

I can’t thank you enough Alan for squeezing me in to bleed my brakes. With hubby working away from home, there was no way I was going to be able to get them done before the weekend. Even provided a courtesy car while the work was being done.

Had a great experience with these guys on Friday. There was a lot more wrong with my car than first thought but they worked hard in it almost all day and did such an amazing job. I never felt pressured or mislead, they took the time to explain and show me all that was wrong. Safe to say I’ve found my new mechanic and will recommend them to anyone

Do not use this mechanic - the owner of this business hit my car door while I was in my car and denied that he did it. He started swearing at me as soon as I tried talking to him about it and then told me numerous times to get a life while continuing to swear at me. Completely disgusting how he spoke to me and would never recommend anyone to use his services.
