Growing up with a love of all things artistic including painting, sculpture, photography and drawing, it was a natural progression for Katriina into makeup and special effects. The idea of becoming a makeup artist blossomed with the realisation that the best part of watching a movie was watching the 'behind the scenes' section.
Blondie Makeup Artistry started in 2000 when she formally trained for two years, full time, at the Arts and Technology of Makeup College (3 Arts Makeup College) in Chippenedale, Sydney, under the watchful eye of Scott Lattimer (now owner of Acmuse in Broadway, Sydney) proudly leaving with a diploma and love of makeup artistry that will live on forever.

Mature skin requires a lighter hand when applying makeup. Being able to give coverage while still keeping as much natural skin showing allows a natural glowing look to come through. I understand that some women prefer to use their tried and trusted makeup brands so I'm more than happy to accommodate individual requirements.
Makeup is only as good as the skin beneath it so it's important to adopt a skin care routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising daily. Gentle exfoliation (especially around the nose, chin and forehead areas) and finishing with a moisturiser will greatly improve the texture of the skin. If skin is particularly dry then Argan oil or a similar facial oil prior to the moisturiser will help with sealing in moisture after cleansing.

I have been going here for quite a few years. They are all amazing and I'm happy to have my hair done by any of them. I walk in and let them do whatever they want and I'm always happy with it. It's so nice to be able to trust your hair dresser (both their skills and their opinions). BTW... this is my first Google Review :-). Try them and you'll never go anywhere else.

New to the area and getting over the heartbreak of leaving my regular hairdresser I stumbled upon Hey Blondie! Impressed by the quality of products and being a Sustainable Salon I booked in. I had Correna for an all over colour and walked away incredibly happy with the result and the service. Champagne and a cheese board, cats to cuddle and a gorgeous team of girls. Highly recommend!

Referred by next door neighbour wasn't sure about not using my normal hairdresser. I'm 73 have short grey difficult strong thick hair that all grows forward, i made the apt at short notice so was allocated Aneisha ( not sure of spelling ) she went over what I wanted pretty thoroughly and listened. My hair now looks great easy to manage sits perfectly and I can do it without product if I want. I have seen much older and more experienced hairdressers completely miss how to cut my hair so usually give 3 chances but she got it in one. Was on the hunt for a new salon so went to Hey Blondie for the first time. All the girls in there were super friendly and a lovely lady named Stephanie did my hair. It was the first time changing my hairstyle in so long so was nervous to go to a new salon. I showed a picture of a colour and hairstyle I was wanting but unfortunately it turned out different. I still have regrowth (it's just been lightened) and was advised that it was just the lighting of the salon but when I got home I could see it very clearly :( My cut was uneven at the bottoms so need to get it recut when it grows back a bit.
