Overall quite unhelpful and very expensive for doing practically nothing. They took the engine apart, decided they couldn’t fix it, told me that “either” the cylinder head or helicoil needed replacement and was something they couldn’t do. Then told me it would be cheaper to replace the whole engine, and they couldn’t do that either! What kind of mechanics are these people? Seriously!!! then told me the car wasn’t worth it (2013 Honda Jazz in excellent condition otherwise, just over 100 thousand kms on it) so they left it in pieces and offered no further assistance.

A while back my car broke down in Rocky on the way to Cairns and through RACQ my car was towed to Menzies...all I can say about Wayne and the team is they were fantastic in terms of keeping me updated via correspondence with what had to be fixed, pricing & updates on how the work was going, even organising getting it trucked up to Cairns for me after they finished and it felt brand new! Rare you get quality customer service & care these days but these guys were bloody awesome! Cheers

Nothing but praise for Wayne and the team at Menzies Auto on repairing my Kia and getting me back on the road ASAP. Their professional, fast and friendly service went a long way in helping minimize the stress of a failed clutch on my drive from Brisbane to Townsville. They were prompt at callout and towing, provided courtesy drop off to my motel and pick up, prioritised my clutch repair and had me back on the road same day at a terrific price.
