An auto battery is a type of rechargeable battery that supplies electric energy to an car. Usually this refers to an SLI battery (starting, lighting, ignition) to power the starter motor, the lights, and the ignition system of a vehicle's engine. Automotive SLI batteries are usually lead-acid type, and are made of six galvanic cells in series to provide a 12 volt system.
Heat Shrink is a mechanically expanded extruded plastic tube ordinarily made of nylon or polyolefin, which shrinks when heated in an effort to return to the relaxed diameter it originally had when extruded. Heat shrink tubing is rated by its expansion ratio, a comparison of the differences in expansion and recovery rate.
A fuse is a type of low resistance resistor that acts as a sacrificial device to provide overcurrent protection, of either the load or source circuit. Its essential component is a metal wire or strip that melts when too much current flows, which interrupts the circuit in which it is connected. Short circuit, overloading, mismatched loads or device failure are the prime reasons for excessive current.
HIDs are bulbs that use a sustained electrical spark to create light. They are very bright (and very efficient), and can be focused really well as in can throw far) but this type of light requires a ballast which takes up space and requires a 10 Watts minimal. Smallest size is around a normal 2D light size.
An incandescent light bulb, incandescent lamp or incandescent light globe is an electric light which produces light with a filament wire heated to a high temperature by an electric current passing through it, until it glows (see Incandescence). The hot filament is protected from oxidation with a glass bulb that is filled with inert gas (or evacuated).

I called in on Friday the 29/12 to choose some new lights for my truck, staff made it very obvious I was ruining their quiet day. When I asked a question about the product I got attitude, When I asked the price I was told "I don't know". So I went down the road to "Hy way truck parts" and got a better range and a bargain without the sour staff. ( I WAS ! an account customer with Alanco )
