Venus Bay Caravan Park (Victoria) is the perfect holiday destination to explore and create memories. Conveniently located within a short drive from beautiful Wilson's Promontory, Phillip Island and the many other attractions of South Gippsland. Situated only 500 metres from the main surf beach, which is patrolled every day during the Summer school holidays and on weekends for the remainder of summer.
En-suite sites are also available. Both cabins and sites are set in a shady parkland setting and are suitable for either the romantic weekend away or a family beach holiday. Bike riding is encouraged within the park and helmets are essential. We can also accommodate group bookings and the heated recreation room is ideal for meetings or social events, with adjoining electric BBQ for self-catering.

We stayed at unpowered sites 1 and 2 over the Christmas - New Year period. We were not at all happy with those sites. These sites are at the backyard of the cabins and the ground was very sloppy. We had lots of difficulties in trying to find an level area in the tend where we can put our bed. The whole area filled with sewage smell from the nearby cabins which was very unbearable.
Had to walk a long distance to get to the toilet blocks which were at the entrance of the caravan park. We often used our car to get to and from the toilet. The whole experience was like camping in someone’s backyard

Amazing park very clean and tidy. Reception staff very helpful we had 3 sites side by side with ensuite very clean and tidy, sites are grassed and very big. Great shops next door, well stocked general store, pizza and pasta was the best I have eaten. Park is old style for sure, but amenities are very clean but not 5 star, but hey it’s a caravan park. I would rate the park and overall experience a 4/5......I would go back again.

It’s a good place to get away with the family but it’s a shame it’s not a smoke free caravan park. Or to have a designated smoking area away from other people who don’t want to be around it. With an asthmatic child, it’s a shame to have our time outside ruined by cigarette smoke wafting into our cabin/sitting space.

The only good thing about the place was its location.
Me and my friend stayed there and were sharing 3bd house for four nights that costed us more than a grand in total. We asked to pay halfs and to have two separate invoices mine and hers, being able to claim 200 dollars of travel vouchers ( over the government initiative if you spend more then 400 on Victoria's travel) . I was going to pay the first two nights and the last two would be under my friend's name. All those details were discussed, explained and agreed over the phone on the time of the booking. On arrival the owners were absolutely
