I'm Vardit Lahav, a Sydney based makeup artist and have worked internationally with a number of Academy Award Winners and Fashion Designers. I have extensive experience in Fashion, Film, Theatre, Beauty and Bridal makeup. Vardit has taught me everything I should know about TV makeup and boy did it stay on the whole time whilst cooking my little heart out in the hot MasterChef kitchen on long shoot days.

Vardit is a real genius. She looks at your face with the astute eye of a painter and tells you excitedly what needs to be done to bring your face(her canvass) alive. She made my eyebrows look even after years of squinting at music and laughing too much. The process of her work leaves you in wonderment of the results which everyone notices. Her excitement at the results is almost as great as the final product itself. She is a true artist, full of compassion and one of the nicest humans you'll meet. I can only say that she's the BEST!!!

Vardit did the make up for me and my daughter for my daughter's bat mitzvah. It was amazing. We wanted makeup that was natural, especially for a 13 year old girl: make up which made us both look the best versions of ourselves. I received compliments all day from everyone about my hair (which Vardit also did) and my make up. My daughter looked so beautiful and natural, exactly appropriate for a young teenager. Vardit made her feel so special and confident.

Vardit did my hair and make up for a wedding. I normally don't wear much make up and was worried that I will have a caked on make up, but needn't worried; Vardit knows exactly what suits my skin and face, she made the perfect, natural looking make up, yet covering the blemishes and imperfections. I organised some engagement photos with Vardit and I was so happy with the results. She did my makeup and hair in the morning before work, and it lasted all day until the evening. She knew what suited me and had a real attention to detail. She knows exactly what she's doing and the result was that I looked flawless but not overly made up for the photos. Incredibly professional and nurturing as well. I looked flawless for the photos and felt like a million dollars! She also didn't waste any time either. I highly recommend her!

I was very lucky that Vardit agreed to do my Satan makeup at the last minute on a Saturday. Fast, professional and competent. I could not have hoped for a better result. I had my makeup done by Vardit for a stage performance and absolutely LOVED my makeup!! It was more than anything I could have expected. I received compliments all night! She was professional and warm and I felt totally at ease in her makeup chair. I would definitely go back and would also recommend her to anyone who is after a makeup artist.
