He first qualified as a Solicitor and Immigration Lawyer in 1994. Ross previously worked as an Immigration Lawyer for M&K Lawyers, the Refugee Advice and Casework Service and Fragomen Migration Lawyers.
Married / Engaged / De facto - the best type of partner visa application for you depends on your relationship type and where you are when you apply for the visa. Partner visa applicants must be sponsored by an Australian citizen or permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen. Partners are normally granted a temporary partner visa first.
A visa refusal decision can usually be appealed to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). The AAT will make a new decision on your visa application and can reverse the Immigration Department's refusal decision. AAT appeals have a much greater chance of success if they are prepared and presented by a Migration Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent.

My husband and I were very happy that we chose Ross as our Immigration lawyer when applying for a partnership visa. We had a very complicated case, It was near to impossible that we would have our partner visa granted, due to previous refusals. No Lawyer was taking our case, saying that it will take time and due to the ban, we will have to wait another 10 years to meet each other. In 2020 I travelled to Australia to make various road trips. Due to the pandemic I didn’t really travel much, but was extremely lucky to meet my beloved partner Gena. My Australian partner and I decided to move from the States back to her native Australia. As a US citizen, I was skeptical that I would be granted residency from all that I had read online.
