Obviously I bring the Oakman to Oakman Photography. With a life long passion for photography it was a clear decision to create a business where I could live the dream of doing what I loved. I grew up in Tasmania until moving to Brisbane in 1991 where it is now very much home. I really enjoy the technical side to photography as well as the creative side.

Shane & Sandy's Story as written by Sandy Shane & I met 10 years ago at the ladies gym that we now both own, he was a single dad with 4 daughters & I was a single mum with a son. Shane was the owner & I. I want to share with you this magnificent Brisbane Bayside wedding. A very popular spot for weddings and family photography.
We were both out with friends at The Victory Hotel. My group of friends decided to go home but I wasn't ready to, so I tagged along with a bunch of girls I just met. I started talking to Harry while one of the girls talked to his mate and we just hit it off and chatted for hours. We have some funny stories about the night so it's a great memory for us.
We have been together for almost 10 years and engaged for nearly 9, we always said we would get married one day, but we always had other things to do, with the house or the kids and of course Missy - we realised that we had to do this before the 10 years was up, otherwise it's just getting silly. We met through RSVP online dating early 2011.

WOW! we are totally lost for words to express how amazing a photographer Pete is, a total professional.
