Foot pain is common but not normal. Whether you have injured yourself playing sport or simply have painful feet, a biomechanics assessment is aimed to find the specific bony or soft tissue structure involved in causing pain in your feet or legs. Your initial consult will involve a thorough history and assessment.

Plantar Fasciitis is a very common foot complaint with pain felt underneath the heel and/or through the arch. The plantar fascia runs underneath the foot from the heel bone to the ball of the foot. Pain is mostly felt at the heel but can also be painful through the arch, this is often described as especially painful on the first step after getting out of bed in the morning.

An EPC is an Enhanced Primary Care plan is a type of Medicare referral that your GP can use if you have chronic health conditions, such as diabetes.

It was my first time visiting a podiatrist and I was very pleased with my visit. I would highly recommend people to reach out to a podiatrist, specifically Cable if they are anxious and would like clarification with their foot issues. 10/10 would recommend – I have a very bad fear of needles and cable was patient the entire time (Really really patient). He was so quick and even put on my favourite music while the procedure was happening. I barely felt a thing and didn’t realise it was already over until he told me! Thanks again Cable!
