Services
At Moruya Preschool we prepare children for life and learning by providing quality Early Childhood Education. We maintain strong relationships with the families of children who attend and we welcome their input and involvement. Moruya Preschool is interconnected with the local community; each enriches and strengthens the other.
Our Program is organised around the National Early Childhood Curriculum Framework (Belonging, Being, Becoming). We use the principles and practices outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to guide our planning. The program is flexible, recognising that children develop at their own pace and working around things that happen spontaneously.
Moruya Preschool is governed by the National Quality Framework, which includes the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. Our Program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and fundamental to the framework are the concepts Belonging, Being and Becoming, which have become the basis of our Philosophy.
The Preschool Policy Manual includes the Policies listed below which are available in the office. As always, you are welcome to speak to the Directors about any queries or issues that may arise. For any unresolved issues, please refer to "Parent Grievance" in our Policy Manual where follow up procedures are detailed.
We aim to support our families in the care and protection of children and can make referrals and provide advice on support services available in our area. Thus we are obliged under the Child Protections Act 1998 to report suspected abuse and neglect or situations that we suspect put a child at significant 'risk of harm'.
