At Box Advisory Services, we all come to work every day because we want to solve problems. Everyone is trying to figure out how to navigate this thing we call a business. Business owners don't know how best to structure their business, what strategies to implement, how much their overheads are costing them, or even whether their business is profitable!
A business activity statement is a form submitted to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) by GST registered business entities to report on their tax obligations. Safe harbour laws give you an additional level of protection for your business if mistakes are made when lodging your BAS. Accountants are afforded additional time privileges with BAS lodgements for your business if you miss the due date.
It's incredibly frustrating when starting a small business to figure out what you need and don't need when it comes to business registrations. All of this has a lot to do with individual circumstances, and there is generally no particular cookie-cutter way to go about this. Knowing where, when and how to complete business registrations can be tricky and not always clear if you've done it correctly or not.

During this stressful time that is Covid-19, Davie has been very supportive to his clients and also businesses that are not his clients.
