The Shiloh Plastics factory is located in Narangba Queensland, just north of Brisbane. The products we manufacture include blister packs (clamshells), plastic boxes and cylinders. We are also able to manufacture a variety of styles of plastic trays and display items. Most of our raw material is purchased from an Australian supplier, and all of our waste is recycled.
Shiloh Plastics opened for business in 1996 under the house of current owners, Ian and Sue Smith. Our story started when Ian saw a need for a manufacturer of slide in card blisters in their home town of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. After four years, Shiloh Plastics grew to the size where an industrial shed was needed.

Services
Shiloh Plastics has been manufacturing plastic packaging for the Australian Market since 1996. During that time we have had lots of experience in making packaging, and have therefore had plenty of opportunity to hone our skills. When it comes to plastic packaging, we know what we're talking about. Over the years we have developed quite a large range of standard products.
The term "Blister packs" describes a kind of specially designed plastic packaging, which is generally, though not always, used in a hang sell situation. Plastic is moulded into a cavity that holds a product. The plastic either encloses or is attached to a backing card. This kind of package is fantastic for the shopper, because they allow them to see exactly what they are purchasing.
A slide in card blister pack is a plastic packaging solution for products that can be hung from a hook by a hanger hole in store? However unlike clamshell blister packs, this package doesn't have a hinge. Also, it only covers the front of the product. The backing card covers the back. This is held in place by three folded edges of the plastic package.
This kind of packaging has many uses. For example, some of our customers currently use boxes for products such as confectionery, craft items, flowers, nursery items, manchester, memorabilia, and the list goes on. They also make great gift boxes. Plastic boxes could be your perfect packaging solution if these are the things you are looking for.
Flat packed boxes could be a great solution for your plastic packaging needs. As the name suggests, flat packed boxes come 'flat packed' and need assembly. This is a simple procedure. It involves re-creasing the edges that have been packed flat and folding in the flaps at the ends. The flat packed boxes will already be glued.
