New laws enforced by the SA Dog and Cat Management Board will take effect. Microchipping is a permanent form of identification. It is the size of a grain of rice, which is implanted under your pet's skin. The microchip contains a unique number that is linked to your contact details on a national registry.
We believe regular vaccinations starting in puppy/kittenhood are essential for the longevity of your pets and reduce the outbreak of preventable infectious diseases in the population at large. Distemper, which is a virus that affects the lungs, brain and gastrointestinal tract and can lead the animal to have a permanent disability.
In addition to our digital Xray unit we have at our disposal the use of in-house endoscopy and ultrasound to aid us in our diagnoses. Our in-house facilities include urine, blood analysis and pathology. We are able to screen a wide range of conditions in determining your pet's health status and ability to tolerate anaesthesia.
Live in Adelaide or within Adelaide's Western Suburbs and need your cat, dog, rabbit or other small animal desexed? In females, it eliminates unwanted litters and uterine disease, as well as significant reduction in mammary tumours (breast cancer). Desexing for females is a day surgery. She is admitted in the morning and will be discharged late afternoon.

I took my kitten to here. I don't want to discuss the matter any further. All I need to say is that you are very good at moral kidnapping. Please stop it. Everything is due to the inadequacies of your hospital system. Only one doctor can answer the details, surgical procedures, and after sales. As a customer, there is no obligation to tolerate flaws in the hospital system. My cat was in fever after he done sterilization on this place and They promised 250 dollars for one night observation. I thought stay in the hospital for one day until the morning after surgery, but my cat kept running a fever

Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough!!! 5 stars is just not enough to represent the level of service and professionalism by Dr Lauren - Dr Rob - Matt & the rest of the team. They literally saved my puppy Bear's life this week and I am so grateful beyond words for everything that they have done! Have been taking various pets there for quite a long time now for good reason! Recently had to have my Dog put down, they gave me the time I needed to mourn and make the choices needed prior to her cremation. Upon going into finalise the bill and tick all the boxes for her cremation, one of the owners there, she went over and beyond in helping us! We have been going here since I was a kid and now bring my own pets here, honestly can not recommend all the staff here highly enough. They are caring and nurturing to all the needs of their patients and owners alike. I wish more people ran their business in the way that these people do!

The worst customer service experience I have ever!
I've been coming here for a while now and without being overly thrilled with the place and their customer service it was convenient and fairly well priced, however my last visit will DEFINITELY be the last.
I came here with my mother who was made to wait outside as the clinic has a one person per pet rule. This wouldn't be a problem if the same standard was applied to everyone. If you're a teenage kid, well apparently the rule no longer applies.
Anyway, the issue is about the way this place treats its customers and the arrogance in which it

Cannot speak highly enough of Per Doctor. Ultrasound results came on for our dog and within 3 hours she was in surgery. Surgery was about 5 hours that had the team not get home until about 1.30am, and they were back at 7.30 to welcome us back for a day of observations. The happiness on their faces when our dog walked in was almost enough to hide… how tired the were. They genuinely care and made a very traumatic experience so much more manageable for both us, and our dog. For our dog to go through that and then he excited to walk back through their doors the next morning speaks volumes about

Good luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone or email. Owner was rude to me on the phone when I’d explained I’d called 14 times and emailed. Their voicemail doesn’t give you the option to actually leave a voicemail and advises to email them and they will respond within two hours. Still waiting on a response a day and a half later. A… ‘tentative appointment’ they didn’t confirm then sent us a text when we didn’t show up. Only problem was that we did show up at the appointment time and there was a sign out the front saying they were closed due

I took my very ill cat to this surgery today. In fact it was the only vet surgery that would see me. All other vets told me that they were too busy.
The lady vet Lauren was fantastic. I did not expect to have my cat put to sleep. I was upset and the compassion shown to me was wonderful.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful team at Woodville and I certainly would come back again.

I am forever indebted to Lauren & Dr Carr for the sheer love and care they provided to our beautiful dog recently. Lauren and Dr Carr worked tirelessly to help our girl, staying back for hours when they should… have been home with their families, not once did they make me feel like a hindrance. I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Pet Doctor Woodville. Our 11 week old kitten, Chewie, was very sick and if it wasn't for them he would not be alive today. Through diagnosis, to care and in follow-up, they were diligent and professional. They kept us informed and aware of all choices of care and were absolutely fantastic in the first 24hrs of diagnosis. The care and expertise shown by everyone is why Chewie is now a happy and healthy cat! I cannot recommend them enough to any pet owner.

We've had two visits to Pet Doctor in the past week & have been seen by Dr Nicole both times. Usually Dr Rob is the only one that my grumpy little dog behaves for, but Nicole has the magic touch! We are very grateful to her and all of the other staff--even if Dior doesn't always show her appreciation!

Processes are lack of transparency, failed to conversation with pet owner. Pet vaccine service is good, but not recommended to stay in the hospital for examination.
My pet started to have a high fever after desexing at this hospital, and no one notified me until I pickup him at 3:30 pm. The last message I received at 10:52 in the morning was: "Udon… is doing very well and will be ready to be discharged this afternoon or early evening."
They told me Urdon will be danger if he don't stay in hospital. I thought that might be a stress reaction because Urdon starting calm down when I stay with

We had been customers of Woodville Pet Dr for 20+ years. I recently experienced a situation that was delt with in a highly unprofessional manner by one of the staff members at Woodville Pet Dr. This person strategically manipulates and bullies people, whether it be staff or clients. Drugging animals up to… make the animal appear far worse just before their owner goes in to pick up their fur baby so that the animal has to stay longer. This individual here seems to "get off" on seeing animals drugged, on life support, dying with the recommended quick

Our Great Dane Bruce is alive today thanks to the diligence, knowledge and professionalism of Pet Doctor. He was literally dying from Bloat when we bought him in. They read the situation and made informed… decisions from extensive monitoring and decades of experience. They saved his life and have him back to us, we owe them so much. I read previous reviews and couldn't disagree more with some of the comments; we found the the staff compassionate, caring with empathy towards us and our family. We recommend then whole heartedly.
