Services
Mid-Century Cafe was conceptualised over a number of years. It started off with the idea for a vintage kitchenalia shop selling goods, hand selected for their quirkiness, fun or fine features and to serve a little coffee on the side. We imagined a smallish place where people could be comfortable, have a browse, a bit of a chat and get good old fashioned service.
Mid-Century Caf has a delicious and reasonably priced menu for breakfast, lunch or light meals, catering for both dine in or takeaway. Vegetarian and gluten free options available. 150g steak with bacon, egg, cheese and chipotle aoli served on a toasted Turkish bun with chips. An array of mouth-watering cakes, slices and pastries are also on offer to accompany your coffee or tea or just to be savoured on their own.

I really love the ambience of this place and it brings back a lot of memories for me. This place is totally unique and it has a real museum atmosphere to it. Today my cousin and I ordered the Thai beef salad; a few years ago I ordered the same and it was really tasty and filling. Price was a nudge under $20 but the servings were tiny; I was still really hungry afterwards. The noodles were dryish and there was virtually no salad. Just two chunks of steak and a sauce that had little resemblance to the real Thai thing. I was disappointed to say the least. Maybe the chef was having a bad day; not sure

My wife heard about this place online..
so we went to the cafe with the 👪 family. It's located in Yokine.. somewhere near Wanneroo Road. To use her expression, it was 'in the middle of nowhere'.
But boy, was it worth the trip. The food was plentiful, and tasty, the service was very friendly. The star attraction was all the furniture and effects (eg books and bric-a-brac) harkening back to the '50s 60s and 70s era. The photos should give you a taste of their range. Us oldies loved reviving the memories.. and the rest of the family were bemused, and, in some cases, bewildered by the tastes of

Wow. What a blast from the past. The decor is such a walk down memory lane. So colourful and bright. Awesome. And that also fits with the service which is first class. And the food is just as good. Oh and the barista is right on the money as well. It is so good I'll be going back this weekend for breakfast with some family. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love the decor inside this café, really creating a 60’s diner feeling. We ordered the pancakes and big breakfast, both very generous portion sizes so very filling. The turmeric latte and lemongrass ginger tea were both very nice. I’ve got no complaints other then some egg shells at the bottom of my poached eggs, but other than that we had a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Who would’ve thought being reminded of how old you are would be a fun experience!
Tucked away in YOKINE bringing back to life a neighbourhood strip.
The cafe is tastefully fitted out with Retro furniture and fittings that was common place in my home growing up. Loved it.
There’s a good menu and also the blackboard specials catering to all dietary needs.
We had Canadian Pancakes, Chicken Snitty sandwich with chips and Club Sandwich with chips. Everything was delicious and fresh and nicely presented.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There’s plenty of free parking out front.
