Based in Doonan, on the outskirts of Noosa, Noosa Turf's 150 acre turf farm is a family run business selling turf direct to the public. Noosa Turf owners Mike and Wisty Johnston have lived on the Sunshine Coast for more than 35 years. They are knowledgeable, experienced and extremely passionate about supplying the most appropriate and cost effective turf solutions for each project.
Grass varieties will perform better when they have had the best possible opportunity from the start. This includes the appropriate site preparation, correct laying technique and using a species best suited to the particular environment. Noosa Turf recommends having one of their team members meet you on site to determine the best species of grass suited to the project environment and elements.

I can only comment on service - not the product as I chose not to spend my money here. Basically, I wanted a fair slab of turf for my yard. I tried calling multiple times to organise a time to look at some grass, but no answer. I just showed up one day at the farm - it was strange as their was no signage in the gates and I had no idea where the office was or who I was meant to talk to. I eventually found a bloke roaming around to talk to and he told me there were no samples out today and to call back the following week. The following week, I called multiple times and yet again no answer. I emailed

I had one lot of shade mix turf delivered and it thrived. 2 yrs later I turfed the lower section of my garden and after 6 weeks of what seemed like well established, we'll cared for lawn, it started to die off. It started in small patches then would spread to the section of turf itself.. it died off in rectangles. Whatever it was killing the lawn moved fast and spread to healthy sections of lawn, where the die back took on a more regular shape (not rectangular). It ended up wiping out about 1/3 of the 90sq.
