To create, promote and maintain a professionally administered sport and industry environment ensuring the viability of the professional and recreational auto racing industry for the benefit and enjoyment of all the key stakeholders - the people who participate, the people who watch them participate and the people who provide the infrastructure to enable them to participate.
This licence is valid for AASA sanctioned drive days, test and tune days, regularity events, lap dash/sprint events, touring road events, drift events, motorkhanas/autokhanas, hill climbs, regularities etc. It is not a racing licence and cannot be used to compete in racing events at race meetings. It's simple and easy to apply for any of our AASA licences.
An official is a volunteer who is allocated a specific task or tasks at a motorsport event to ensure that protocols and procedures are complied with. These roles include Safety, Medical, Communications, Clerk of Course, Flag Marshalls, and so on. Please refer to the AASA Event Operations Manual for detailed descriptions of the various officials' roles.
