Alf graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002 with First Class Honours. He began his formal dental career within a large group practice on the Gold Coast for 5 years, where he refined his skills in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. During his tenure, he gained a special interest in children's dentistry.
At Redcliffe Smiles our aim is to make all our patients feel comfortable and at ease at our dental surgery. For us, we love nothing more than to see each one of our patients return happy, relaxed and smiling. We practise an individualised approach to dentistry and are committed to providing professional, gentle and compassionate care.
Bridges are one of several options available in the unfortunate situation where a tooth has been lost. A bridge replaces a missing tooth by suspending a false tooth from the natural teeth adjacent to the space. Crowns are made to fit over these adjacent teeth, and the false tooth is attached to these crowns to create the bridge.
Baby teeth are very important in the healthy development of the child's mouth. If these teeth are lost prematurely, it can cause major problems with the positioning of the child's adult teeth. Baby teeth, like adult teeth, can become decayed and subsequently infected. If cavities are detected at an early stage, simple fillings can be performed.
Crowns improve the strength, function and appearance of teeth when a more conservative approach will not suffice. Crowns, more commonly referred to as caps, can be placed over teeth that have lost their structure or are cracked. They can be applied to teeth that have previously been treated or filled.

I have recently had a pretty big procedure done at Redcliff Smiles. The whole experience was very good. From the front of house staff, to the nurses, through to the dentist. They were all very professional and caring, ensuring the experience was pleasant and pain free.
I was very nervous going in and left totally relived and happy with the results I got. I will be using Redcliff smiles from now on as my regular dentist. A big thank you to everyone involved, you did a great job!

Excellent. Putting the dentist off!? You've got to visit here. Jake and assistant's are great. Looked after my Mum. Extremely nervous person, was at ease with Jake and did a good job.
I put the dentist off for years. Repaired my teeth, received the best advice and easy to understand.
Don't put it off. Thought that visiting a dentist was lots of $$, no, it is affordable. Best to get a check up and look after your teeth for the future.

Benn once before and had a ruff job done. Made a second apointment and because i was ten minutes late yhey said they wouldnt be able to do any work amd couldnt fit me in any oyher time until at least a week away. I cancelled and went to another dentist. Dissappointed really consideri g you generally wait ten minutes to be seen anyways

Service at the start was great but as the months went on everything went downhill, my private health insurance has been used up for the year & I'm left paying everything out of pocket to fix everything that was worked on which has been confirmed by 2 other Dentists. Things could've been rectified with me if the staff at redcliffe smiles just listened to & took me serious instead of brushing me off as the to hard to do list! Now I'm left paying thousands to have 5months worth of pain fixed, if i could give a negative start i would but unfortunately u'll just have a fake 1 star review. If u need

Honestly the reviews on here are true. This place is fantastic! The Dentist Dr Michael Sidhom was very thorough in the exam and wasn't pushing to just throw random costs in. He was very transparent with me in what dental work I needed and gave me great pointers with my dental health he answered all of my questions in an easy to understand format. Even the reception staff were incredibly polite and had an excellent attitude.

I’ve been using Dr Alf Lee and his team for my dental needs over the last 12 months and can’t recommend them enough! Even though I now live across the state, I’ll still fly down to Brisbane to be seen at Redcliffe Smiles.
I have always had higher needs as a patient due to sensitivity and my aversion to hearing dental tools working… Since visiting Redcliffe Smiles, Alf has taken out my wisdom teeth, replaced multiple fillings and recently put in a crown for me on a tooth that I thought I would have to loose. During all of this work, Alf and his staff have always taken the time to answer
