I started training back in 1995 and during that time have seen a lot of changes throughout the industry, like the introduction of the current practical driving test Q SAFE. Naturally there have also been some changes in road rules such as the reduction of the speed limit in local built up areas from 60 to 50 km/h.
Having very little to no experience driving manual vehicles from the get go, Ken had an amazing calmness and array of methods in order for me to succeed and eventually obtain my HR licence.

Successfully obtaining your Medium Rigid licence can broaden your career prospects in ways you may never have considered. From driving delivery trucks around town to driving buses throughout the streets of Brisbane, it allows you to operate medium weight vehicles more than 8 t GVM, with no more than two axles.
The HR unrestricted truck license is a road ranger or a non-synchromesh gear box. This transmission requires the driver to "double the clutch" for all up changes and down changes. While this at first would appear to be an easy method in reality it takes good co-ordination and practice to master the change accurately.

Thanks to Ken at KMS I completed my unrestricted HR Licence. I can honestly say if it wasn't for his skills and knowledge I doubt if I could have passed. I had tried with another company before that left me stressed an anxious. Ken put me at ease and gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed. Cheers Mate you really are number 1.

There is no need to shop around, just phone Ken at KMS and get yourself booked in. Ken is a natural instructor, gives clear and detailed instructions and has the patience of a Saint. He prepared me really well for my test (the first driving test I had to sit in 30 years), and I passed first time. Not only will you end up with your HR license, your overall car driving skills will be dramatically improved, as will your awareness of driving around heavy vehicles.
