Wintersun Motel

It was a lively budget hotel motel nothing was out of the way for them very friendly staff

My friend stayed here. She said it was very clean, everything was neat and tidy. Very affordable. Enjoyed her stay.

Definitely needs updating but ok for 1 night I guess. All brick walls and 70s/80s tiles. Cheap accommodation, not far from town. Don't stay here if you are picky.

Nice little room, would have been nice to have a power point a little closer to the bed or table to charge the laptop and phone, but managed to make it work with a quick scrounge at the shop for an extension cord.
Free Wi-Fi was a good speed, not like others where you have a poor limit or speed.

Hot water took a few minutes to sort out but generally pretty good place to stay. Right on the highway but hardly notice the traffic. Will return again next time 😁

Great location and an easy walk to main st in town centre and beach close by too.
Reception good.
Room was basic but very clean and has everything you need for your stay.
I would stay again as its a great price with no frills.

As a general rule, "You get what you pay for", and "Value is based on expectations", are good guides to selecting accommodation.
Given we didn't pay much to stay here, and had little expectation beyond wanting a place to sleep, Wintersun rates 4 stars.
Pleasant reception, clean, dated rooms, and an appetite stimulating stroll from the main eating precinct, you can stay here for less than most other places, and not sacrifice too much in the way of life's comforts.
