This place is pretty cool. You can hire kayaks to go for a lazy row on the river. The park being in Bridgetown is central to a few small country towns and in less than a days trip you are exploring another country gem. There are the usuall amenities and an over flow for 6 powered sites and looks like 8 nonpowered sites. Town is walking distance away maybe 15 minutes or so. There is plenty of trees for shade if it's a scorcher and 2 walks you can do along the river. 2.45hrs and 35 or 45 mins if you just need a short walk. The river is swimable, but kids please watch your parents. Lol. Markets are

My husband and I with friends stayed in the cabins for the last four days ( they are actually Donga's). The cabin was very dirty, the fridge and Microwave had to be cleaned before use. The bedding did not smell fresh and washed. One of our friends found long hair in their bed.
I would definitely not stay there again.

Be very careful and check your site before booking!! We made a booking over tge phone for a powered site for 2 nights. When we got there we were given site 30. It was extremely small had quite an incline and was just sand. So were unable to put out our awning, found it almost impossible to level the van with nothing but sand!!!
