We provide wet hire of a full range of earthmoving machinery operated by some of the most experienced and dedicated earthmoving subcontractors in the business.

Herbie's aims are twofold: to make sure our clients needs are met and to foster an environment of growth and development for our subcontractors.
Herbies Earthmoving offers a full range of plant hire machinery and attachments for all your excavation requirements. Our aim is to provide you with earthmoving equipment, services and operators you can trust quickly and affordably. So whatever your project, such as dams, roadworks, construction, or demolition, we can meet your needs.
Herbies Earthmoving offers a full range of machinery and attachments for all your earthmoving requirements. While advanced planning/bookings are always appreciated, we understand that same day or next day hire is sometimes unavoidable. We endeavour to assist with short notice where possible. Please note all services are provided on an hourly hire basis or at a fixed contract rate & included an operator.
For work starting from 6pm through to 5am Monday to Saturday will incur an additional charge of $30 + GST per hour. There is also an 8hr minimum charge. Minimum Hire will be applicable if the machinery is not cancelled 1 hour prior to commencement time. It is solely the customers responsibility to cancel due to wet weather - failure to do so will incur a minimum hire.

Very disappointing experience with Herbies. They didn't even do any work for me after showing up for an already cancelled booking and sneakily charged my credit card a penalty fee the next day. I asked to have it refunded and they said 'NO', so now i'm left seeking my credit card company to reinstate the fee. None of this was discussed or ever agreed to. Untrustworthy to deal with!

Great customer service. Contacted them and they were able to fit the job in the next day. Had Herbies remove large amount of concrete and dirt from our front yard. Driver was really skilled, professional and whole job was done as fast as possible. They even called back to the office to see which depot had the best price to save us money.
