My husband and I did a course at Home Base where Tristan was a presenter. Since then we have been in contact with him regarding building in the south west, whilst looking for a block. A couple of times, he has met us at properties for his advice before buying which has been very much appreciated. We are still looking for a block but will definitely be using NHBB when we find one and very much appreciate his help up to this point.

Background
In 2018 we found that our local area had been rezoned as an ‘Activity Centre’ and were consequently left with two options. Either stay and endure a 10+ years of surrounding construction sites as 4 and 6 story apartment blocks rose above our single storey house or sell and move. As you probably already guessed we choose the latter. Our original intention was to find a similar house in an adjourning neighbourhood. However, this search turned out to be harder than we thought. After many home opens and visits to display villages, we concluded our only option would be to purchase a block

We were first time building and it was quite a daunting experience not knowing what to expect. We planned on building our forever home and had visited many display homes and engaged numerous project builders. We were nearly at a point of signing up with one of them but I wanted to have a second opinion after hearing many horror stories.

My husband and I initially sought the services of a well known builder to design and build our family home. We wanted to maximise our river views with a reverse living design. The home they designed for us was never going to pass through council and they soon became difficult to deal with. After this disappointment, we made the decision to step away from this builder and made contact with NHBB who soon helped us get back on track. We have recently gone through the process with NHBB, and are now living in our forever home, and we are so glad that we engaged with the team and the process. Through the process we have been able to get our dream home, with all our specifications, within our budget with minimal stress along the way.

My husband and I first met Tristan at a New Home building course at Home Base at which Tristan was one of the presenters. This proved to be timely for us as we had reached frustration level, for a number of reasons, with the various project builders that we contacted who didn't suit our needs or our price point. Tristan has extensive knowledge and experience in the building industry in Perth and matched us to a terrific custom builder who valued us as clients.
