If required, we can provide re-sanding and coating of your existing timber floor returning it to its former glory.
Made of synthetic materials with a wood like appearance, laminate flooring is manufactured using a high density fibre as its core base and finished with aluminium (AC3) coatings which provides a very hard surface that can withstand greater impact than other types of hardwood surfaces available. Affordable, easy to maintain and its wide range of colours and style makes it the most popular flooring in the industry.
Solid Timber Flooring can be glued direct to concrete, glued to Plywood (Plank on Ply), or on battens. Solid Timber floors come in a variety of colours, widths and thicknesses to suit any household giving a warm atmosphere to your home. We also have a pre finished range of solid timber which reduces the cost of having the timber sanded and coated.
Most solid overlay flooring choices cost between $55m and $100m and installation, sanding and finishing is approximately $100/m. A moisture barrier is essential for newer houses under 5 years and is always recommended for all timber flooring. The cost of this is included Beading is also included in the price.

Terrible service, ordered a small amount of flooring and when I got through to them a week later after ringing for several days was told that the timber I wanted was out of stock. ( Feel this should have been checked upon ordering) A courtesy call to let me know would have been good, maybe customer service is not a priority for them.

Amazing job done by Noel and his team at A1 Wood Floors. WA Black Butt installed, it was a pleasure to deal with a company where they take both pride in their workmanship and quality of product being supplied. Also did an amazing clean once the job was completed. Would highly recommend Noel and the A1 Wood Floors to all.

Noel was fantastic from the quoting stage to the finished product. We had some bifold doors that didn’t have a big enough gap for the flooring to go under. This wasn’t a problem for Noel, he and the team found a solution to the problem and we ended up with a fantastic finish right through the house. The price was great and we are very happy with the final product. Couldn’t recommend Noel and A One wood floors highly enough.

The Friendly and professional team at A1 Wood floors were a pleasure to deal with and the end result is Fabulous! Noel and his team were very flexible and had great advice to offer. I have had Blackbutt hardwood installed in my apartment and Noel and Karen were able to provide and exceed the strata acoustic rating specifications that were required. I would absolutely recommend A1 wood floors for their attention to detail, professionalism and exceptional end result.

The customer service I experienced was fantastic. Noel was not only excellent in installing our timber floor, but he went out of his way to make sure that were happy with the final product by advising us on how to maintain it. They were efficient and got the job done in a timely fashion by working on weekends. Clearly, they had years of experience judging from the way they got the job done. We would definitely recommend them to anybody who is thinking of getting timber floors.
