Services
Denton Engineering & Hydraulics started off as a husband and wife partnership in 2004 doing machining and light fabrication. It has since grown into a one-stop engineering workshop: servicing and repairing heavy machinery as well as offering a 24 hour breakdown contact.
Since being established in 2004, Denton Engineering & Hydraulics has grown in size and capabilities that required the workshop to be relocated twice before settling at Glenwood Drive Thornton.Being located close to the junction of the M1 Motorway and New England Highway, we are centrally located on major transport corridors in order to service the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast and beyond.

We currently service the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Mid-North Coast, Gunnedah, Narrabri and Dubbo regions including an afterhours breakdown service. Our manufacturing facility offers a broad range of machining capabilities to support all our clients throughout New South Wales. Generally, we have a turnaround time of 8-10 business days however this can be negotiated as we do offer a breakdown service for work orders that are urgent.
Denton Engineering & Hydraulics has extensive experience and expertise in hydraulics and offers a wide range of hydraulic services under one roof including cylinder manufacture, modification, repair and refurbishment. At Denton's we remanufacture all cylinders according to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements where possible and provide firm quotations after assessing the scope of works.
Denton Engineering & Hydraulics includes Thermal Arc Spraying as part of our capabilities, enabling us to become a one-stop engineering workshop specialising in reclamation work through this process. We have a customized Thermal Arc Spraying chamber that meets all quality and safety standards.
Thermal Arc Spraying, also commonly known as metal spraying or cold spraying, is a surface engineering / coating process where a wide range of metals and ceramics can be sprayed onto the surface of another material without flame and very little heat. This means that large items can be built up with even, dense and uniform coatings to virtually any thickness.

Although we do not work on site, we are happy to visit to determine the scope of works before arranging to receive or collect works. Depending on the scope of works, our tradesmen are able to work in shifts including weekends. Turnaround for breakdown work will change depending on the scope of works and customer.
