Services
Our healthcare team can assist you with education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the happiest and healthiest life possible. We provide a full range of medical facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of dogs and cats. In order to keep informed on current therapies and procedures our veterinarians and nursing team regularly attend relevant seminars and education programs.
Veterinarians recommend desexing for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it prevents unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. In females, the spay procedure removes the reproductive organs and immediately stops hormonal cycles with the associated bleeding in bitches, and risk of pregnancy.
Castration of males can help prevent wandering tendencies which can lead to traffic accidents as well as some territorial behaviours in cats such as urine marking and fighting. The latter can lead to many an unplanned vet visit due to injuries which can in themselves require surgery and extensive treatment to resolve.

We recommend and stock a variety of healthcare products for your pets to protect against creepy crawlies such as fleas, mites, lice and intestinal worms. Please contact us for advice so we can recommend a product that suits your pet, environment and budget. We will tailor make a parasite control program for your individual pet, depending on his/her lifestyle and choosing amongst a number of excellent products now available.
Vaccinations are very important and protect your pets against infectious and potentially fatal diseases. To maintain this immunity, the kittens must be vaccinated once every 12 months. The vaccines will protect the kittens from three infectious diseases - Feline enteritis, Cat Flu and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
Your pet's dental health is one of the most overlooked and undervalued aspects of their health and well being. Periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition occurring in adult dogs and cats, and is generally preventable. By three years of age, most dogs and cats have some evidence of periodontal disease.

Second visit, and as commented on last time again saw vet Claire. Able to discuss several issues concerning my hound and all information given in a really friendly and easy-to-understand manner. Going back for a third visit early 2022.

I'm not one to normally leave a review, but after the fantastic service and care I (and my fur-baby) received from Nicolle, I felt that I really should. Vet visits are always a nervous one for us, and being new to the area this was the case even more so, but after chatting to and dealing with Nicolle, her professionalism, friendliness and obvious love and care she has for animals, made us very happy and comfortable. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family go see her for all their fur-baby needs. Thank you again!
