Acupuncture treatment involves the careful insertion of extremely fine needles into locations on the body known as acupuncture points. Ancient Chinese acupuncture maps reveal a unique system of specialized points running along acupuncture channels that feed energy to the organs of the body. Acupuncturists refer to these channels or lines as meridians.
Regardless of your health complaint nutrition plays a vital role. For years nutrition has formed the back bone of health-care. Hunting for and gathering food consumed most of the pre-agricultural societies time and energy. Food and herbs were our first medicine, which were used to treat a large number of conditions ranging from wounds and insect bites, to infection and broken limbs.
Every week I have several inquiries, asking, "what's the difference between acupuncture and dry needling"?.
The short answer is, "they are like chalk and cheese" specifically in the length of time spent studying/training and learning the skills that yield results and the philosophy that governs these therapies but ultimately the practitioners skill; however there is no difference when it comes to the actual needles used and "this is where the confusion lies".

In the fast pace of today's world where everybody is under constant pressure, people are now taking more interest in maintaining good health and well being. There is a general concern about disease and the environment: in particular how pollutants are affecting our health, and the way in which pesticides or contaminated animal feeds are affecting the vegetables and meat that we eat in our daily diet.
Many people believe they need more sleep than is strictly necessary and worry unnecessarily about insomnia. It is also the case that people with insomnia sleep more than they realize, but since they wake frequently the quality of sleep is poor. Establishing a regular routine of activity during the day and set times for going to bed and getting up may solve the problem.

I am the original sceptic. A bad back resulted in many visits to the chiropractor with no improvement and then after a ruined holiday overseas because I couldn’t walk I sought medical help. MRI scans showed a bulged disk trapping a nerve and an operation was the suggested fix. After the pain became constant I went online and read Accupuncture reviews and chose Paul. I was seeing improvement after a couple of visits and then was pain free after several more sessions. Paul is an absolute professional and genuine guy, I had many interesting chats with him. all I can say is a huge thanks and that

Paul is a fantastic practitioner who I give the highest commendation too. He successfully resolved a painful sporting injury that was so bad it caused me to walk with a limp. I researched online & found what turned out to be a hidden gem called Acu-Care Naturopathics. Paul operates from his home practice which is meticulously clean and has the professional edge. His expertise and knowledge outshines any other service provider that I’ve come across in Northern Territory or in Queensland. On all occasions Paul took the time to explain the process for each treatment, he also demonstrated kindness
