Paul, is the proprietor of the denture clinics, located in Reservoir and in Keysborough, Victoria. He is a recognised Medibank Members' Choice Extras provider. He is also a Fellow member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists' Association. With his many years of experience (since 1972) and good reputation, people come to see him from all around Melbourne, in particular the northern and southern suburbs.
Increasing retention and vertical height of old, existing dentures or new dentures that, for one reason or another, have lost retention. Often due to recent extractions or sometimes due to surgical oral procedures. Gum tissue conditioning to allow your traumatised gingival tissues (gums) to return to a healthy state.
Dental Prosthetists are qualified professionals who specialise in their field. By direct consultation, your Dental Prosthetist will construct and fit dentures or sporting mouthguards as well as maintain, repair and reline the dentures as required. To consult a Dental Prosthetist, patients do NOT require to provide a referral.
When Dentures are to be constructed it is our policy to ask patients for a deposit upon commencement of treatment with progressive payments and balance upon completion. GST is not payable on new Denture and at present only denture repairs attract GST on the laboratory value only. Patients who have private dental insurance are able to claim for their prosthetic treatment (Denture, relines, repairs etc.) using the HICAPS system.
This information is for people who are having difficulty wearing their upper or lower dentures keeping them securely and confidently in their mouth. The instance of a loose and uncomfortable lower denture is far greater than that of an upper one. Upper dentures have the advantage to adhere to the roof of the mouth (suction), lower dentures don't they often just sit there.
