Our recycling waste transfer station, Kingston Waste Transfer Station, is also based in Mordialloc. This is where we sort and recycle all the waste collected. We have a large range of wheelie bins, skips and walk-in bins, starting from 660L wheelie bins and increasing all the way up to 30 cubic metres in capacity.

Located at 24-30 Fonceca Street, Mordialloc the Kingston Waste Transfer Station provides a valuable recycling and rubbish disposal service. Kingston Waste Transfer Station is committed to the safety of its workforce and customers. We are complying with all current heath and safety regulations and sanitisation procedures for businesses operating face to face with the public.
Green Waste is sorted removing any contaminating waste and then mulched. It's then taken to companies who further compost, screen and process it, creating a marketable and viable gardening product. Concrete is dispatched to concrete recyclers to be crushed back into various grades of crushed concrete/crushed rock for use in road making and paving etc.
It is a fibrous material that was used in certain building materials as a fire retardant until as recently as the mid 1980's. It is now known to be hazardous when inhaled, causing cancers such as mesotheleoma. The bin must be lined with heavy duty plastic such as fortecon (builders plastic). Asbestos fibro sheeting is then placed inside after being wet then sealed and secured for transport.
A: Mostly 24 hours, but if you call us early, usually we can deliver the same day, depending on availability, location and delivery schedules. A: 2 hours notice is required to cancel a bin. If a bin has been arranged to be delivered before 9am you must contact the office by close of business the day prior.

Got rid of a carload of cardboard and polystyrene. The bloke in the office was great. Too easy. Note: whenever you want to dump various materials at any of these places, cut up/flatten cardboard boxes, separate different types of materials and remove contamination from recyclables. I had done all that so it was easy for them to inspect and easy for me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Love these guys. I've had 3 bins from Rhino now. From the first interaction on booking to when the bin is picked up, the service is top class and super friendly. Office staff are polite and attentive. Bins arrive when promised, dropped exactly where requested and get picked up promptly when filled. Thanks Rhino.
