Miami Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is an Allied Health Profession; that is, it is a healthcare profession that works alongside traditional medicine. The effect of the shockwave is neovascularisation (meaning the formation of new blood flow), reversal of chronic. Pilates, developed in the 1920s by legendary physical trainer Joseph H. Pilates, is an exercise system that focuses on improving.

Hydrotherapy is the use of specific exercises in a warm pool instructed by an aquatic physiotherapist. This provides the benefits of warmth. Miami Physiotherapy has a dedicated rehabilitation gym area in our purpose built facility. We have a selection of specific gym. RTUI can be helpful if you have low back, pelvic or hip pain, or muscular disorders such as recurrent hamstring or groin.
Services
Shelley continues to direct the practices with a team of 7 additional physiotherapists and a remedial massage therapist, ensuring we can offer more appointment options and guaranteed same-day appointments across both our locations. We are open from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, and Saturdays from 8am til 12noon.
Physiotherapy is an Allied Health Profession; that is, it is a healthcare profession that works alongside traditional medicine disciplines of doctors and nurses to help patients overcome movement disorders that are affecting their health. These disorders may be as a result of injury, ageing, accidents, congenital issues or habitual postures.
We can see you in our super clean clinic, or if you are self-isolating with your pain, injury or concern during these difficult times. Physiotherapy is considered an essential medical service and by helping people with their acute injury, chronic pain and rehab, we are able to take some pressure off our doctors and hospitals.
Neck pain is any pain felt in the neck area with or without referred pain into the shoulders, arm or head. It is the 4th most common complaint for which people present for medical help with 50 % of people reporting a neck injury requiring treatment in their lifetimes.

Neck pain causes a detrimental effect on people's quality of life, affects their work and sleep and causes a burden on them financially with medical appointments, but also missed school, work and social/sporting commitments. If you've ever had an acute wry neck - you'll understand how incapacitating neck pain can be.
The most common elbow problems we see by far are Tennis Elbow and Golfer's Elbow. Both of these are tendinopathies at the elbow joint. Tennis Elbow, medically called Lateral Epicondyle Tendinopathy or Common Extensor Origin Tendinopathy, is a degenerative condition of the tendons of the forearm extensor muscles that connect into the lateral epicondyle of the elbow.

With poor previous experience with physio treatment for shoulder pain I was reluctant to go again. However my doctor insisted so glad she did as the treatment I recieved from Danny at Miami was great and got me back to normal.

Fantastic Service from this company, having back spasm while excising Scott has worked wonders.
He identified the trouble areas and muscle groups within the first session. From there we have a plan of treatments, has also helped with my bursitis and correcting my form during workouts.
I cannot recommend Scott and the team more highly.
Thank you

Awesome people here, from reception to the therapists these people are friendly and know just how to help others. I do love the way they take the time to explain how things happen and what's to be done to help rectify problems.
Edit:: I have just had some periodic maintenance on my back and I will say that both Shelley and Anya have done an amazing job, my back hasn't felt better nor has it been so flexible in many years. The treatment and stretches / exercises are working so well. Thankyou both for the wonderful treatment.
