Poppy (the face behind the business) specialises in watercolour paintings, hand lettering and calligraphy, giving us the perfect knowledge to execute your project with style, personality and creativity.
Live event painting is a unique and specialised service where an artist comes to your event and paints the scene in real time, as it is happening. This requires an artist who is comfortable with a live audience, works quickly and can make quick decision on the best way to capture the moment. I thrive in this environment, and love painting while your guests watch me work, and see the painting come to life.
Capturing your wedding venue on your invitations or day stationery is a really awesome way to bing some personality and creativity into your wedding, while giving your guests the perfect preview of what to expect. Don't see your venue? Don't worry, I am more than happy to paint your chosen venue for you, so that you can have a unique and AWESOME invitation too.
Illustration has been my passion from as long as I can remember, and has been part of my life whether I've been in one place working, or on the go with my world travels. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of Plymouth, UK, and was awarded the 'Student of the Year' award.
Although starting my painting career primarily using acrylics and collage, recent years have seen me move into watercolour painting more and more, and by using techniques from my acrylic days, typography, hand lettering and loose watercolours, I create energetic and creative pieces which are colourful, whimsical and full of life.

I love painting, and even more, I really love painting portraits. I've been lucky enough to capture heaps of families, creating the perfect gift for your loved ones. Whether its a birthday, anniversary, wedding or even just to show you care, a portrait is so personal, so unique and shows a lot of thought has gone into it.

My mum loves art. We have so many paintings around the house that there’s no room left on the walls. But she wanted more and mum said there’s room outside. So I engaged Poppy to create a mural as a feature along side our pool.
I was blown away with the results! She painted a sea scape mural with a giant whale and my mum loves it, she gazes at it everyday.
I would highly recommend Poppy, she’s fantastic!

I found Poppy quite by chance but immediately fell in love with her creative style and asked her to design my Yoga logo for me last year. It wasn't easy as I had lots of ideas, all of them different but Poppy was super patient, super helpful and nothing was ever a problem to change or re work until we got the final result which I am super pleased with!
