Hi, my name is Natasha and I am the owner of Lily May Cake Design and we are located in beautiful Margate, Tasmania. I started Lily May Cake Design as I have a passion for baking and decorating beautiful cakes. I started cake decorating not long after my own wedding where my sister in law made our wedding cake the process fascinated me and I desperately wanted to learn as much as I could.
Little did I know that I would end up here. So to my sister in law, I say thank you for steering me on this sweet little path. Since my first encounter with 'that' cake, our wedding cake, I've been fortunate enough to travel back and forth to Planet Cake in Sydney to learn from arguably some of the best cake decorators that Australia has.

Please email us by using the feature on the contact page if you would like recommendations for other cake decorators. Bookings for all cakes are made on a first come, first served basis and as dates during October to March are generally booked out early, it is recommended that you place an order for your cake as early as possible, even 9-12 months before is not too early.
I cannot recommend Lily May Cake Design highly enough, Natasha was so lovely, accommodating & professional. We got numerous praises for our engagement cake - it looked and tasted absolutely amazing. We had a bit of an unorthodox wedding so we wanted a half Star Wars cake half traditional, Natasha made it with no worries and she also gave me ideas on what would work and what wouldn't.
