Elliot has over 10 years of experience in the building surveying industry, he has worked for two busy private building surveying firms based in Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula. During his time in the industry Elliot has worked hard to gain qualifications and registration in both Building Inspection and Building Surveying.

Services
At Approved By ED we specialise in Building Permits, Building Advice and Building Inspections. We also offer a range of other services as listed below. These days almost everything you would like to build, extend or alter requires a building permit. We can guide you throughout the entire process from application to approval through to finalisation.
We spend a lot of time on site with builders and have a great understanding of what they face day to day. We aim to ensure our service is as practical as possible. We make ourselves available to give you great advice to ensure your questions are answered. We place an emphasis on being consistent and ensuring the regulations are applied accurately.
Approved by ED are located in Leongatha, Victoria and the main areas we service include Bass Coast, Phillip Island and South Gippsland. Approved By ED are also more than happy to provide services within the area outlined in the above image but can travel further if required. From time to time we will use local registered contractors to ensure we are providing the best service within a reasonable time frame.
Most building work in Victoria requires a Building Permit. Buildings come in all shapes and sizes therefore the information required to get Approved by ED will vary. Please contact us so that we can explain exactly what information/documentation is relevant to your proposal. A copy of the Appointment of Building Surveyor (Only to be completed by the property owner).
