After completing a Bachelor in Horticulture at Melbourne University (Burnley Campus), Matthew joined ETT in 1999. Passionate about horticulture and the nursery industry, Matt leads the Sales Team, bringing his extensive knowledge and understanding of tree production to the sales and marketing process.
For over 40 years, Established Tree Transplanters has been the leading supplier and transplanter of advanced trees to the Australian market. Founded in 1973, ETT began as the vision of Graham & Judy Davis, who, after returning from the UK where Graham learned the innovative techniques for transplanting large trees, set about demonstrating that urban landscapes could be transformed by the inclusion of mature trees.
Every landscaping project is different, and ETT is one of the few Australian providers with the specialised knowledge, experience and equipment to successfully transplant mature trees into any environment. We have a wealth of accumulated knowledge, spanning four decades, which has informed and shaped our transplanting methodologies.
With two growing sites in Victoria, ETT has approximately 1.2 million advanced trees under production at any one time. Located 70 km east of Melbourne's CBD, Hoddles Creek is part of the Upper Yarra region of the Yarra Valley. The region is renowned for it's fertile red soils, coupled with a cool climate, making it an ideal location for advanced tree production.
