You already know that the East Kimberley is a stunning area with abundant waterways, ancient red landscapes and majestic boab trees. On the rolling green banks of our foreshore, waterlilies bloom and the colours of the iconic Elephant Rock come alive on sunset. Meet our toothless, resident Freshwater crocodile "Gummy" or view our very own 1,000-year-old Boab tree.
Surrounded by green parks, the foreshore and native bushland it's easy to forget it's just 1.2km from Kununurra's centre. Even closer is Kununurra's largest children's playground, a brand-new outdoor gym facility and boating jetty. For many of you, it's taken a long time to get here and it's an honour you've chosen Kimberleyland as the place your Kimberley Memories begin.

My family emigrated to Australia in 1981 when Kununurra was yet to mark the map, an outback town in Australia's last frontier and a huge contrast to the comforts of European life. My Father, a migrant European farmer had partnered up with tourism pioneer Gregor McQuie to launch Kimberleyland. It was a bold venture, an exciting endeavour ahead of it's time.

Must be one of the best managed parks downunder - nicely done - beautiful setting close to the water lake - occasionally freshies will visit and the sunrise is breathtaking.
Clean amenities and the little Cafe has a great selection of breakfast with top coffees on offer at reasonable prices.
Great effort by management to have life music performance around the pool and to keep campers updated via sms messages what's happening at camp.
Very impressive and highly recommended to stay when in Kununurra area.

Beautiful big sites and nice big trees for shade, last time I stayed it was fully booked but still didn't feel busy. Lovely view of the lake and even unpowered sites are great! All amenities are clean and tidy. Walking distance to town centre. Plus there's a cafe on site. Have stayed here multiple times and have nothing to fault.

Excellent staff here, genuinely helpful& kind. Covid created problems for many of us travellers. Gabby found us two nights where there were none we needed to extend & Lyndel found us 3 more!! Thanks team. Cafe is lovely, the Dutchman running the Cafe needs to be commended, very fast & efficient service. Food excellent, fresh & tasty, price good too.
The Park itself had roomy sites & sprinklers on rotation to keep it green. Showers great pressure & toilets clean.
All in all great busy park.

Kimberleyland is a great park. Good location. Very pretty down by the lake/wetlands area. Bigger than average sites and the entire park is well laid out. We were told they were a bit short staffed and if that be so then all must be putting in extra effort as nothing was left wanting. For reader info, we paid $65.25 a night for a powered site in early June with our G'day membership.
