Services
Groundwater is a major source of water for towns, mining, industry, stock and irrigation. Rockwater provides specialist services in groundwater exploration, resource assessment, and borefield development, operation and licencing. Rockwater designs and implements dewatering schemes - assessing hydraulic properties using visual inspections, injection/pressure testing, test drilling, bore construction, and test-pumping.
Rockwater is closely affiliated with several organisations supporting the advancement of groundwater and environmental science. We also encourage our scientists to participate in seminars and conferences, where possible.

Since 2018, Rockwater has provided the University of Western Australia with annual prize money for the best hydrogeology student in the school of engineering, and we also contributed significantly to establishment of the UWA Master's in Hydrogeology programme.Rockwater is a corporate member of the International Associations of Hydrogeologists.
GROUNDWATER SUPPLY Rockwater provides specialist services in groundwater exploration, resource assessment, and borefield development, operation and licencing. Australia is the world's second driest continent. Surface water supplies are limited. Groundwater forms a major source of water for cities, towns, mining, industry, stock and irrigation.
MANAGED AQUIFER RECHARGE Rockwater is actively involved in the development and application of MAR to augment conventional groundwater supplies. In today's drying climate and increasing demand for water, more sophisticated methods of managing water resources are becoming necessary.

Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) involves the controlled recharge of surface runoff or treated waste water into an aquifer, and the storage of that water for future use or environmental beneficiation.Rockwater has been a leader in Managed Aquifer Recharge since the Water Corporation's Jandakot injection trial in 2000.
MODELLING Rockwater uses the latest software for the modelling of flow, solutes, heat and salinity. A groundwater model is a computational method of approximating fluxes in the hydrogeological system. Groundwater models are used to address a range of groundwater problems and are key tools in the decision-making process.
