The Kokoda Youth Leadership program is run by the RSL & Services Clubs of Sydney in conjunction with Charlie Lynn's Adventure Kokoda. A program aimed at creating greater awareness among young people of the Diggers sacrifice on the Kokoda Campaign, and to ensure that traditions live on.
At the same time, aiming to instill a commitment to community service and enhancing personal development by providing local youth an opportunity to experience the same conditions under which our Diggers fought. This is a transformational experience encouraging participants to become future leaders in their own communities.

As a Sydney member we try and support the local club. Today my husband and I had some business to do in Goulburn so we thought we would have lunch. We arrived eating area of the club and asked what type of fish was served, the young girl behind the counter said flathead so we bought two flathead meals, we began to eat the meal saying to each other does it taste like flathead to you, well it wasn't we asked the young guy collecting the plates what type of fish was it he stated BASA, we didn't order basa and would never order BASA its from Vietnam. Thanks alot. If I could give a zero rating I would
