Services
We all want to look our best and that includes having the best smile that we can have. Teeth, and sometimes entire facial structures, are permanently changed by orthodontic treatment. And that is why you want the most qualified person with the most expertise to create your smile.

Specialist orthodontists have the knowledge and expertise that uniquely qualifies them to diagnose, prevent and treat problems that relate to your facial appearance and alignment of your teeth. They are the experts in planning, creating and retaining your new smile. Orthodontists have the professional skill in the design, application and control of all corrective orthodontic appliances.
Our team at New England Orthodontics has been in place for over a decade. Helen commenced working at New England Orthodontics in 2004 when she had two daughters boarding at New England Girls School. She is highly trained as both a dental therapist and dental hygienist and regularly updates her skills through continuing education.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney, Peter practiced as a general dentist in Broken Hill, London and then for over a decade in Albury. During this time Peter gained invaluable experience of the full range of dental conditions and feels that he can better treat his patients through this understanding of comprehensive dental care.
Early evaluation of children provides both timely detection of problems and greater opportunity for more effective treatment by intervening at the most appropriate time. By the age of 8, the first permanent molars usually have erupted, establishing the back bite. Peter is then able to evaluate the front-to-back and side-to-side tooth and jaw relationships and diagnose whether there is an imbalance.
The aim of your first visit is to find out whether you could benefit from orthodontic treatment, and if so when would be the best time to start. When you contact New England Orthodontics to schedule your first visit, our practice manager will arrange for you to receive a referral for diagnostic radiographs and direct you to complete a New Patient Questionnaire.
