Chris has been involved in the travel industry for over 12 years, specialising in escorted groups and special event holidays. In 2012 Chris won Tamworth Young Business Person of the Year. Other achievements include: APT Top Achiever 2012, Tamworth Young Citizen of The Year and Australian Line Dancer of the Year.
My husband and I were looking at taking our first trip overseas which was a big deal for us. We wanted a holiday which was going to be exciting and hassle free so we contacted Chris Watsons Tavel because we wanted someone who we could trust with making all the arrangements, for what we would hope to be a wonderful holiday.
It took six months in an Imperial Russian Navy ship for the first modern human beings to reach and 'discover' Antarctica. We run cruises to Antarctica during the Antarctic summer months every year and the journey is just as monumental as the destination. As you pass through the sublime Drake Passage on a luxury cruise ship, you will have the chance to spot migrating humpback, orca, mink and fin whale pods making their way through the big blue.
Asia is like a world within the world. Ancient, palatial, sprawling, diverse - from the neon metropolis of Tokyo and the temple-spotted rice paddies of Cambodia to the dusty plains of India and the sultry Borneo heat: you will never see the same thing twice. And while it is impossible to narrow down your list, we have figured out a thing or two over the last 40 years about the best way to tackle a continent as diverse as this one.

I have just had the opportunity to Experience the Outback tour to Lake Eyre & Birdsville, with many sightseeing adventures along the way. Thanks to Chris Watson Travel this was organised down to the last afternoon tea & sunset landing back home to Tamworth. 9 legs over 3 days and included not only the air travel & breathtaking views but all very comfortable accommodation & delicious meals. I really appreciated all the ‘attention to detail’ and arrangements were hassle free. A must do Memory Making Experience.

Lake Eyre - Birdsville outback charter trip was absolutely amazing. Seeing the ever changing deserts, lakes and mountains from the air, plus visits to lots of friendly outback places was all incredible. The trip was well organised and the pilots, guides and hosts were all fantastic. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
