The Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park, as it's name suggests, provides affordable holiday accommodation right on the banks of the River Murray. No busy road to cross, no traffic noise to keep you awake at night, just the natural sounds of the birds and animals that live in this delightful riverland environment.

Idyllically set amongst magnificent old River Red-gums, the popular park is home to kangaroos and an abundance of bird life. Amongst many other varieties, you'll see kookaburras, whistling kites, pelicans and if you're lucky, regent parrots. Take some river time; relax, unwind, throw in a fishing line or a yabby net, swim, ski, canoe and at the end of your day, fill a glass and experience the glorious sunsets.

Hot and very windy, out in the open. Still nice to get away even if we cut it 2 days short. The amenities and facilities were clean and cleaned twice a day. The staff there are awesome people. Thank Goddess we could drive up to The Woolshed for a Firehouse Stout and Hard Lemonade. The dog park up the road was great and people picked up after their dogs there, as it was tidy and very big for my German short haired pointer to run, as she has to be tethered up in the caravan park.

Fabulous park, spotless facilities - very helpful and friendly managers. Gregg and Erin you've done a wonderful job keeping this park looking so good, we saw how hard you worked over the last few days following the storms, so many fallen trees to clear. Thankyou, the park is a credit to you both - we will return !

We had a lovely 4 days over the October long weekend at this wonderful caravan park. The management keep the park looking beautiful, lots of open spaces, green grass, shady trees and lovely walks down to and along the river. Easy launching for kayaks. The showers (top of my list in a caravan park!) are fantastic and kept very clean throughout a very busy long weekend. We noticed the management cleaning regularly late into the evening to keep bins emptied/kitchens and toilets clean and re-stocked, they are very friendly and helpful so would definitely recommend this caravan park!

Wonderful riverside caravan park.
But the manager mows the park every single day on his large ride-on mower, kicking up dust and ruining the peace. He mows one half of the park, then the next day mows the other half, then the next he's back on the first half. Please just let the grass grow for more than a day, it will die during summer.

We had a executive riverfront cabin. Very spacious and comfortable the views were fantastic. On the down side The oven didn’t work and the stovetop and windows were lacking a good clean. Great walks along the river.

I am not a person to complain about anything but this business disappointed me. The day before this June long weekend we drove there to enquire about a 2 night stay..... no one at the reception with a sign “If unattended call” Mobile number) I’ll be there in 5 minutes the woman said. She turned up from the house next door unlocked the door not even a walk out to say “ Hi how can I help you today “? Our experience with this person was extremely rude and after our conversation with her certainly confirmed that. Yes we had 3 small dogs with us over 2 sites but u need to try to accommodate

Booked a powered site for 2 nights well in advance, due to my wife just having surgery (will provide a doctors note if needed!) we are unable to make the original booking and we wanted to re-schedule for the June long weekend.
Was basically told bad luck and lost our deposit due to 14 day cancellation policy....not that we were cancelling, we wanted to re-book!!!
I would have thought in these tough times of business a simple re-schedule and deposit transferred would have been very easy to do.
Not a happy camper at all and do not recommend, very bad customer service!!
Again I stress, WE WERE
