Stayed for 7 nights over NYE in Cottage 2.
Firstly lets talk about the good......
Friendly staff, plenty of facilities & activities for kids/family. Great location to walk to shops, beach etc.
The reason I am giving 2 stars is for the good stuff otherwise it would be a one. Our accommodation which was the cottage we stayed in was something from the early 80's. Broken tiles in the bathroom, filthy floors and the most dated and gross furniture I've seen. The bunkbeds were so dangerous, I had real concerns for the steel bars with my small kids.
It was so bright each morning that we were lucky

Best part about this place is the awesome pool. Indoor and heated. We had it to ourselves sometimes but at other times it was full. We found the spa too hot for summer. The other greatbthing was the live music on Saturday night. Bad part about it is the site we had was so far from both the pool and the amenities. Choose ur site carefully.

Worst customer service.
We booked a camping stay for a few nights. We did ask to change the booking from powered to unpowered upon arrival (to be in a much quieter area). This was not allowed due to policy, which is completely understandable. However, the way this information was conveyed to me by one of the female staff members was extremely rude and obnoxious. We also had friends who booked into a cabin a few hours before we arrived - they too experienced hostility and rudeness from the reception staff.
On the second day I went to reception to ask for change for the laundry. As I was there

Recently had to cancel our booking due to a death in the family and we were refused a refund. All we were told was “it’s the rules.” Screw the “rules” where’s the compassion? I know we are all doing it tough at the moment, that’s why it’s important to be extra kind to one another and help when we can. Hope the business enjoys our free money while we scrape the barrel to pay for funeral arrangements.

Have stayed here before its a nice park but very rude reception staff. They also need to update their website to let people know that the cabins are not serviced you need to bring everything from toilet paper to your own garbage bags and you also don't get a change of towels so I would strongly suggest bring some of your own for extras and if you do eat another towel they charge 5bucks a towel. Also bring your own beach towels
This is essential cause if you don't know the staff are so rude they will tell you as they told me it's not a 5 star motel and all I asked for was a garbage bag!
So bring

It was OK for an overnight stop. Beds were hard, not enough towels and despite the fact they were having trouble with their boom gate, we were chastised for having to tailgate gate in order to get out. If the exit boom gate wasn't working, why not simply leave it up? No one in the office on a Saturday so no one to speak to.

We booked two hideaway cabins for our stay with our grandchildren. We Love our stay, the grand kids enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday, even when it was cold outside. They enjoyed playing putt putt, jumping… pillows and playing cricket in the fully enclosed nets. No lost balls which was great.
We enjoyed watching the kangaroos and bird life in the park.
The Park is very convenient and easy walk to Woolworths and Club Sapphire, which serve a great lunch.
Only downside was that the cabins could do with a bit of maintenance.

You see, every time a customer complains like this, you treat it like this. I don't know who didn't understand. And when you lied to me and asked me to prove it, didn't you tell me to cancel the reservation? I waited 6 months for this booking. But now, customers like me are canceling because you don't want to receive them either!!! It's really disappointing. If I were the owner, I wouldn't hire employees like you. It's not your judgement that you're kind, it's the customer's judgment. I really don't want to go camping with you!! But now that it's hard to find another campground, you know me better

Booked accommodation on the 21st of April for 2 rooms, Cancelled the accommodation due to family reasons less than 24 hours after booked. 3 weeks later while checking my bank statements I was charged $100 cancellation fee for both rooms. Called reception to query the charges and was hung up on twice. They then called back, I was greeted by a very… unfriendly lady. No where on the invoice or confirmation email was stated that there was a cancellation fee. I was accused of being a liar and then hung up on again. I would not recommend this venue to anyone that wished to visit the lovely Sapphire
