I called up to make a return trip booking with Exemplar. The initial quote that was given to me on the phone was wrong. Exemplar then subsequently took more money from my credit card because they had underquoted me originally without obtaining my consent first. I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to do that. On the drive back they had overbooked the shuttle bus so there was no seat available for my husband to sit on for a portion of the trip. He had to sit on the floor of the tiny bus. Absolutely unacceptable planning given given we were charged over $100 for the trip. Our driver though was lovely

We used exemplar coaches to get to and from our hotel in Cairns. They were punctual, friendly and the service was excellent. We would particular like to thank our driver Fred, who made our day. He was so lovely to chat with and showed so much enthusiasm and care for us. He was the best welcome to a new city anyone could ask for. Highly recommend.

I booked and used Exemplar 3 times during my trip between Cairns airport to Port Douglas, Port Douglas to Cairns city and Palm Cove to Cairns airport. The booking through the phone are very good and efficient. I called several other companies before them and they all booked out or not even picked up. Look like lots of services closed down. It's a bit strange as other companies allow you to book online but when I call they said it's full. That's why I prefer call and book with Exemplar to be sure it's available. A big thank you to Exemplar for helping to get all my wedding guests to and from our wedding venue without any stress or complications. I had the most fabulous experience travelling between the airport and Port Douglas. At the airport there was a greeter who guided you to the bus. The bus left early, the driver was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The bus was exceptionally clean and he drove safely. I am a local with a business in town and I was so proud to be on that bus. Thank you for a memorable transfer

Really bad. I've used them for years but now we waited an hour at airport then when they arrived we were told o your not on this bus yours is in another hour. Then as we leave airport there are six buses and drivers having a chat. They need to re focus on service. They charge enough and we did consider them more than a bus. I bet a standard bus runs to time ..

Pathetic! My mum had an accident while on holiday resulting in her being in a leg brace. When we called to enquire if they had a car other than a mini bus which my mum would not have been able to get in they didn't come back with any options and just said we have cancelled it but charges remain, thanks for letting us know. What the hell???? We paid… for a private transfer and you can't change the car for us??? That's pathetic. We paid for 3 people and a baby to have a private car take us back to the airport and you can't accomodate someone who can not step up into your old run down mini
